Training, consultancy and psycho-education

Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked in education and I have always been passionate about learning - and sharing my love of learning with others through teaching and training. ​

Since 2017, I have run training courses for the Thrive Approach on a freelance basis, locally and across the UK. More recently I have also designed and facilitated my own bespoke training packages for local schools and education professionals.

To date, the training has included topics such as an introduction to Transactional Analysis for primary school staff, a half day on behaviour and the emotions driving it for a secondary pastoral team, and a guide to 'rupture and repair' in relationships for a key phase team in a specialist school. In addition I run bespoke psycho-education sessions with adult clients and parents of my clients aged under 18, to support them with better understanding, strategies and signposting to further resources.
